Description
The Lark Ascending was inspired by a name borrowed from George Meredith who had written a poem with the same title. Years later, The Lark Ascending had also been set to music by Ralph Vaughan-Williams. Philip interprets both the poet’s word and the instrumentalist’s music brilliantly, with his vibrant use of colour and line. An uplifting design.
