Description
At the end of July 1913, a bowler-hatted William Moorcroft stepped off the train at Cobridge Station and walked down to collect his colleagues from James Macintyre. From there, they walked to his new, state-of-the-art factory in Sandbach Road, a building which still houses Moorcroft pottery to this day. A design in the round, The Walk is an artistic expression of this historical event.
