Description
This is the third and final plate in a series of three commissioned by Thaxted Guildhall Trustees. Rachel’s plate features the magnificent cathedral-like Church built in 1340, in colours of mustard and grey, flanked by the Guildhall and John Webb’s Mill which sit in the grey outer rim with the design text. The symbol nearest the spire is for the Parish Church of St John the Baptist.
