Description
In the dance of the Thaxted Morris Men,sticks and swords crash on the ground to frighten away evil spirits, bells welcome the spring and the waving of handkerchiefs mimics court dancers of the 17th century. The Thaxted Morris Men still dance to this day, keeping their 108 year old tradition alive. This mug is adorned with a Thaxted Morris Man performing in traditional costume.
