Description
In the early years, William Moorcroft’s local ‘friends’ would call by of their own accord to rummage around in search of a bargain from the walk-in cupboard for their personal collections at home. In many ways, these were the first collectors of Moorcroft. On The First Collector, the original 1913 bottle oven is smoking away, the factory gates are open and collectors from the 1920’s are queuing outside.
