Description
The thylacine, commonly known as the Tasmanian tiger, was the largest known carnivorous marsupial of modern times. Sadly, it became extinct at some point in the 20th century. Evidence suggests it was relatively shy, nocturnal and the appearance of a medium sized dog, except for its stiff tail, abdominal pouch and dark transverse stripes that radiated from the top of it’s back.
