Description
This spectacular orchid species, having slender arching columns of flowers suggesting the neck of a swan, is aptly named. It differs from other orchids in that it has separate male and female flowers and can be found growing on decomposing wood in South American rain forests. Emma’s design fills this plate with beauty and colour, as broad leaves support stylised orchids with a dark blue surround.
