Description
The Sturt Desert Pea, one of Australia’s best known wildflowers, is endemic to the Australian mainland and is the floral emblem of South Australia. Famous for its distinctive blood red leaf-like flowers, each with a bulbous black centre and grey-green foliage, it occurs in arid inland regions. This size is rare as it was not included in the series.
