Description
Designed in 1876 by William Morris, Snakeshead was influenced by the colouring and patterns of Indian textiles. One of his own favourites among his printed chintz, the design takes its name from the snakeshead fritillary blooms. Rachel’s interpretation in colours of woodsmoke, red, white and hints of light purple on a dark blue ground, turn this flat pattern into a three- dimensional ceramic tribute.
