Description
Philip discovered inspiration for Quiet Waters from the Shubunkins that swim in his garden pond. Known in Japanese as Kohaku, these fish swim at leisure in famous temple carp ponds in the city of Kyoto in Japan. Philip has worked his shubunkins into a design image that includes both slow moving water and water flowers in a palette of calming colours, set on a dark blue ground. Signed by the designer.
