Description
Moorcroft always considered that the design and production of useful ware was as important as ornamental pieces. The backbone of this production throughout the 1920’s and 1930’s and, indeed, until the 1960’s was the Moorcroft Powder Blue tableware. The range encompassed teapots and coffee pots, preserve jars, cruet sets, bowls, plates, egg cups and a multitude of other items. The Powder Blue range was used in Liberty’s Tudor Tea Rooms. This tea set is incomplete.
