Description
Although the term ‘peacock’ is often used to refer to males and females, the true name of the species is the Indian peafowl. As their name suggests they are native to India, but also live naturally in surrounding countries. Rachel’s stylised peacock fans its tail open to a crescendo of colour in soft blue, green and apricot on a soft green ground, standing on a dark green knoll.
