Description
Pulsatilla, commonly known as pasque flower , is a perennial which blooms around Easter (pasque meaning “like Paschal”, of Easter). Several species of this wildflower are valued ornamentals because of their finely-dissected leaves, bell-shaped flowers and plumed seed heads. Philip’s clock is adorned with deep burgundy blooms, against a soft burgundy wash fading into a delicate cream at the neck.
