Major Sir Thomas Mitchell fell in love with Australia’s stunning pink cockatoos. Vicky Lovatt was also awe-struck by the almost comical flamboyancy of this exotic bird. This design featuring three Major Mitchell cockatoos all in various positions among vibrant yellow wattle branches, captures what a close encounter with these colourful and curious-natured birds would feel like.
