Description
Katmai, a design which wraps itself around the vase, portrays a family of brown bears, one fishing in a river and the other looking after its cub. Vegetation circles the base, while a band of leaves envelop the top of this two-handled vase. In the background, distant pine forests against a mountainous backdrop suggest a vast expanse of spectacular wilderness.
