Description
Alicia’s vase was inspired by Tony Herbert, the metal detector enthusiast who discovered what would become the largest ever Anglo-Saxon Gold Hoards, in a field in Staffordshire in July 2009, where Herb Robert grew wild amongst the hidden cache. Her design includes motifs from sword pommels and other treasures, with Herb Robert appearing to grow out of the entwined snakes heads.
