Description
On the first occasion on which pieces emerged from the bottle oven in 1913, everyone cheered when the first pieces were gently lifted out of their saggar – both green pomegranate 8″ bowls. William’s luscious pomegranates, enriched with grapes, formed the bedrock of Moorcroft design until the mid-1930s and was recreated by Nicola 100 years later on a celadon ground.
