Description
Banksias are named after Sir Joseph Banks, the first European to identify and collect specimens of these plants, all but one of which occur naturally in Australia. This hardy gnarled Banksia tree, found around the Murchison River in WA, has a resplendent reddy pink or silver vertical candy-striped bloom. Framed by tall Kangaroo Paws, this Firewheel Banksia is both dramatic and colourful.
