Description
Delonix regia is a species of flowering plant and is noted for its flamboyant display of flowers. In many tropical parts of the world it is grown as an ornamental tree. Shirley Hayes uses strong colours and tight linework in the creation of her Delonix range. With the fern-like leaves and stalks used as panels to frame each bloom, the rich mix of purple, maroon and blue create an inviting piece of ceramic art.
