Description
Hibiscus is a genus of flowering plant comprising several hundred species that are native to warm temperate, subtropical and tropical regions throughout the world. Drawn circa 1949 from pressed flowers sent to Walter from Jamaica, the hibiscus evolved in different colourways and on different grounds from the early 1960s through to 1986. These soft coral hibiscus flowers stand guard on a green ground.
