Description
Rachel’s inspiration for Cathedral was her love of stained glass. The transfer of stained glass styles into ceramic art saw Rachel’s innovative approach link the work of glassmakers to her own. The result is this magnificent vase in the round showing Archangel Gabriel praying in an altar window, the Garden of Eden both subtle and suggestive and, The Ark, a dove with olive branch above it.
