Description
A Moocroft Demonstration Process painting sample, these pieces are never available to Collectors or the general public. This vase shows Step ③ of the process. An inked outline is rubbed onto the surface before tube-lining is complete. Tube-lining is the application of liquid clay, which is squeezed from a rubber bag, somewhat like icing a cake.
