Still in employment somewhere else, at the time, Rachel Bishop was commissioned to design the prestige piece to be introduced at the Birmingham International Spring Fair. Iris’s stand tall and proud while tiger lilies dance below them around the circumference of the vase. Flower heads in shades of pink, purple and orange sit against a deep blue ground.
