Description
The sulphur-crested cockatoo is a large white parrot with a dark grey bill and a distinctive yellow crest. They exist throughout the northern and eastern mainland and Tasmania and their normal diet consists of berries, seeds, nuts and roots. Rachel’s design sees this glorious bird draped by the red flowering gum’s striking flowers and leaves on a rich blue ground. This was the first Australian commission.
