Description
The scarlet robin is a vibrant native Australian bird, the male having the most dramatic plumage colours including a bright scarlet red breast, from which it takes its name. The outlines of the birds are finely tubelined with ‘freehand’ painted feathers creating a softness in the birds that is set against the strength of a jet black base that blends through shades of grey to an ivory rim.
