Description
Rudbeckia is a plant genus in the sunflower family. The species are commonly called coneflowers and black-eyed-susans and are all native to North America. Rachel’s design is naturalistic, not stylised. The flowers at the top of the vase are a pale golden yellow, while the flowers near the base are more strongly coloured. Leaves of pale green with hints of brown are set against an ivory ground. This vase carries the painted M.C.C. insignia.
