Description
Hill House was designed by the celebrated artist, architect and interior designer, Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1903. It is considered to be his finest domestic creation and is home to much original Mackintosh furniture. Nicola’s design, with stylised Glasgow roses, is reminiscent of Mackintosh’s ‘kimono’ cabinet, on which images of shrouded ladies appear like ghosts. Signed by the designer.
