Description
The Cooktown Orchid was proclaimed the State flower of Queensland on the 19 November 1959, after a public poll for the most popular choice of floral emblem. It was an easily cultivated native species discovered in northern Queensland. Emma’s blush-pink orchids with their deeper maroon centres, nestled amongst the canes, buds and foliage, encircle this petite vase.
