Philip Allen began collecting William and Walter Moorcroft era designs in the 1970’s and in the mid 1980’s he became the exclusive Moorcroft Factory Distributor/Sales Agent for Australia and was so for over 30 years (1985-2017) for the John Moorcroft, Richard Dennis and Hugh Edward’s design eras.

During all those years, Philip Allen continued to purchase pieces for his private Collection and in the course of business, received many exclusive and unique Samples and Trials, some of which were never commercially produced.
